The 4000T high-efficiency intelligent die-casting island is the product of the ‘national intelligent manufacturing equipment development special project’ which led by Suzhou Sanji Foundry Equipment Co., Ltd., and jointly undertaken by FAW Foundry Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology and others. The equipment was delivered to FAW Foundry Co., Ltd. in December 2016 for the fully automated production of Jiefang heavy truck gearbox housings.
